Hey there, It was so great to hear from so many of you last week about my jumble sale dress. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story. It was fun to write.
I live in earthquake country, just a few miles from a fault line. These past few weekends I have been updating our emergency kit.
I'm a bit late on the update, most of the food expired years ago, but do you know, you can now get water that lasts fifty years! Wow. It is really strange to buy water that will last longer than I will.

IG #9 Update
Revision five of the new IG is complete! (I usually do ten.) The book, still untitled, should be out by the end of the year.
I'm being deliberately vague about the publication date as I have a lot going on and I don't want to over-promise, but I'm working hard to get most of it complete before I go to the UK in September. I will be visiting my family for the first time in three years and I'm excited!

My current jigsaw-in-progress perfectly represents where I am in the writing process. The edges are sound, the sky is done. Now I have to complete the details and fill in any missing pieces.
