Hello! It's the end of the 2020. Many people have been counting the days but I think every day is precious. At the end of each year, I like to review what I achieved and look ahead.
This year was full of achievements
Despite the pandemic, the return of adult children to the nest, and shelter in place orders, things still got done.
In 2020 I was able to do the following:
Publish 3 books:
- Louisiana Lies
- Chaos in Cambridge
- The Case of the Forsaken Child
Release three box sets:
- The Roxy Reinhardt Mysteries Books 1-3
- The Inspector Graham Mysteries Books 5-7
- The Alison Golden Mystery Sampler: 5 Book Box Set
Give away 42,000 books to support readers during SIP.
Complete 5 new first drafts.
Add epilogues to The Case of the Screaming Beauty and The Case of the Hidden Flame. (Spoilers, so beware!)
Grow book sales by 33%.
Add a dynamic new home page to my website.
Reply to over 4,000 reader emails(!)
Update and improve my starter library to include four books:
- Include the new, exclusive Annabelle prequel, Chaos in Cambridge and the first book in the Roxy series, Mardi Gras Madness.
Develop new Insider exclusives:
- Chaos in Cambridge
- 4 Starter Library puzzles
- Inspector Graham’s Favorite Teas
(To get access to the starter library and Insider exclusives, please sign up in the box at the bottom of this page.)
That’s a lot.
So as the year ends, I'm feeling grateful. Despite everything, it’s been an amazing year for me and that's all down to you. If you’ve bought one of my books, left a review, or recommended me to a friend, thank you.
Thank you for telling me your stories, for sending me your lovely pictures, cards, your emails. Writing stories for readers to enjoy is a privilege and you’ve helped make that possible.
I look forward to bringing you many new stories throughout 2021 and the years beyond. Next week, I’ll muse a bit on what I’m hoping to achieve in the next twelve months.
All that remains now is for me to wish you a very Happy New Year. Goodbye to 2020. I'll see you on the other side. XXX
