📚 What am I going to write in 2025?📚

Hey there, lovely reader,

I hope you had a lovely holiday season and are back in the swing of things. Thank you to everyone for your well wishes about my leg, which is now mostly mended.

I wear a brace on occasion, and take care when I'm out and about, but it's not even a mild inconvenience now, I am simply attending to matters with an abundance of caution.

I was in an Indian restaurant on Tuesday, and the song I was Bollywood dancing to when I fell, came on. It made me want to dance again.

With this first newsletter of the year, I have plans.

Two for two

I started the next Inspector Graham on the first day of the year, as planned. Working title: The Case of the Thingummy Thing. I hope to have it finished mid-year (with a better title) and publish late summer.

I will then return to the world of Diana Hunter for her last installment. I hope to have that done by the end of the year.

These are my two main goals for this year, and I will be delighted to meet them.

Other 2025 plans…

I wrote a Roxy short story at the end of last year. It tells the tale of Roxy's life before she leaves for New Orleans and how she becomes Nefertiti's owner. The story will replace Mardi Gras Madness in the starter library. 

Every subscriber will receive this prequel, but if you haven't downloaded your free starter library and want to get MGM as part of it, please download it now. The starter library will change up soon and once it does, MGM will not be available for free any longer.

I will also continue to diversify my offerings. Audiobooks have been a huge success and I'll continue to offer those in all my cozy series. I've had enquiries about creating audiobooks for the Diana and German Graham series. The decision to do this is based on sales of the Kindle and paperback versions. If enough of those are sold to justify the audiobooks, I will do so.

First though, there will be more German translations of Inspector Graham as I follow through on my commitment to translate the entire series.

Another big development this year will be the launch of a store selling merch and companion products to my fiction books.

I'll also be continuing the birthday club with a new gift for 2026.

That should keep me busy.

So pages are turning. It is a new year. A new writing decade for me. I'm looking forward to it all.
