Hey there, lovely people!,
I'm back from the UK and back to business here in the US. Got a bit waylaid by the obligatory virus one picks up while travelling and also by a kitty who was pleased to see me, but I am back at my desk and beavering away.
My next big project is a new Diana, but first I am making a few changes to the series. Shortly, the prequel, Hunted, will only be available in my starter library. It will no longer be for sale, either as a standalone book or part of a box set.
If you’re not already a subscriber to my newsletter, sign up here and get your starter library, including Hunted, for free!
Inspector Graham's had a facelift!
The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed that the Graham covers have undergone a slight facelift. The illustrations by the lovely Richard are still featured, but Barney gave them a new treatment and I think they look fab!
The books have already been updated and we'll be rolling out the new cover images on social media and other communications over the coming weeks.
And the journey continues . . .
Indeed, it has begun!
Earlier this year, after quite the search, I hired Matt Jamie to be thevoice of Inspector Graham.
Matt trained as an actor at Drama Studio London and since then has worked on both sides of the screen and stage, as an actor, director, maker of films (drama, music videos, theatre visuals, theatre promos, dance films), photographer (actors portraits, production photos, dance imagery), and in audio production – producing a radio drama podcast called PlayStream and doing sound design for theatre and audio productions.
Behind the scenes we have been diligently working to transform the written word into audio books and the first two in the series, The Case of the Screaming Beauty and The Case of the Hidden Flame are now available from Amazon/Audible. Click on the links below and listen to a sample of Matt's work as the voice of the Inspector Graham mysteries. The remainder of the audiobook series including the box sets will roll out over the coming months.
Finally a few more photos from my last couple of weeks in the UK. They were a whirlwind from which I haven't yet fully recovered. Days without deadlines and driving were replaced with theater dates, museums visits, delicious restaurant meals, and walking tours. It was exhausting, and exciting! Hover over the images for details.
Until next time, happy reading!
